We’re celebrating a huge milestone for K-9 Thor, our newest addition to the team! On Thursday, Thor was officially promoted from “Cadet” to “Officer” in our department during a special ceremony. 🐾🚔
This promotion isn’t just a title; it represents the incredible bond and trust between K9 Specialist Jordan and Thor, who have been working tirelessly together to become a certified patrol team. Thor’s transformation from a young pup in training to an official member of the K9 Unit marks a significant moment in both his and our department’s journey.
We were so proud to attend the ceremony, where Thor’s handler and our department had the honor of recognizing all the hard work and dedication Thor has put in. From intense training exercises to real-life scenarios, Thor has shown that he’s not only a skilled and intelligent K-9 but also a loyal and brave partner. His new rank symbolizes all of his accomplishments and the responsibility that comes with serving and protecting our community.
We want to thank everyone who has supported Thor’s journey, from the generous donors who helped make his arrival possible to the officers who trained alongside him. K9 Thor has big paws to fill, but we have no doubt that he’s going to do great things as an official member of our team.
